Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 5 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Mix yeast in 5 Tbsp. lukewarm water. Mix and keep in refrigerator until needed: Spoon out on greased pan with a tablespoon and let set 10-15 minutes to rise before baking. Bake at 450 degrees about 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
