American chop suey
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- green pepper, cut up - 1 item
- elbow macaroni, cooked - 1 lb
How to make american chop suey:
Cooking Time: 45 minutes. Servings: 4 to 6.Brown ground beef, drain and set aside. In a large pot, mix tomato paste, water, green pepper, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add ground beef and simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Serve over elbow macaroni and top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
