Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- medium heads cabbage - 2 item
- small green pepper optional - 1 item
How to make 24 hour slaw:
Grate cabbage and onion and green pepper (optional). Combine oil, vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Will keep 2 weeks or more.Recipe categories: American, Salads, Southern u.s..
