Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- can mandarin oranges - 1 item
- can pineapple tidbits - 1 item
- mini marshmallows - 2 c
- large cans fruit cocktail - 2 item
How to make 24 hour fruit salad:
Put eggs, vinegar and sugar in top of a double boiler and cook until thick, then add butter. Put in a large bowl to cool. Whip cream and add to dressing. Be sure dressing is cool. Add fruit, well drained, then marshmallows. Mix well. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Salads.
