Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • onion, chopped - 1/4 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
  • dry bread crumbs - 1 c
  • red pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
  • bulk sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
  • cubed summer squash yellow, zucchini and/or patty pan - 4 c

How to make zucchini-sausage casserole:

Place squash in small amount of water in large saucepan; cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Transfer to greased 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.
