Zucchini apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- seeded, peeled and sliced zucchini - 4 c
How to make zucchini apple pie:
Crumb Topping:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. flour In large saucepan, combine zucchini, water, butter, vinegar, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice and flour. Cook over low heat until thick. Pour in unbaked pie shell.Combine topping. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 350°, cook 45 minutes.
