Zesty meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- pepper - 3/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 3/4 c
- bread crumbs
- cans tomato sauce - 3 oz
- medium onions, chopped - 3 item
- ground chuck - 3 lb
- fresh chopped parsley - 1 item
- chili pepper
How to make zesty meatballs:
Combine the first 7 ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Cook meatballs in hot oil until they are lightly browned; drain. Place meatballs in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.Combine remaining ingredients, except parsley, in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over meatballs.
Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Yields about 6 dozen.
