Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- all-purpose flour
- large eggs - 3 item
- shortening or butter - 1 c
How to make yellow cake:
Cream the shortening, sugar and vanilla on medium speed until mixture is light and fluffy. Add eggs to creamed mixture. Stir until mixed. Add 1/3 of the dry ingredients; mix on low speed until blended. Add half of the milk. Add the remaining dry ingredients and the other half of the milk. Continue to mix until blended. Pour batter into greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Bake for 45 minutes or until done at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Infant/baby Friendly.
