Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt
- flour - 5 c
- Crisco shortening - 1/2 c
- yeast - 1/2 c
- powdered milk - 1/2 c
- lukewarm water - 2 c
How to make yeast rolls:
Sift together all dry ingredients. In mixing bowl, mix 2 cups lukewarm water and the shortening. Mix water and shortening a little while, then add the yeast. Mix well, then add dry ingredients. Let rise about twice its size, then roll out and cut out rolls. Place on a greased pan; let rise again. Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes, or until done.
