Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- warm water
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make yeast biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water and add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Roll out on floured board 1/4-inch thick. Cut and dip in melted butter. Let rise one hour. Bake at 400° until brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
