Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2 3
- medium onion - 1 item
- strips bacon - 6 item
- head lettuce - 1 item
How to make wilted salad:
Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces. Chop onion and toss together with lettuce. Meanwhile, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Drain on paper towel. Mix 1/2 cup vegetable oil with bacon drippings left in pan. Add vinegar. Heat and pour over lettuce and onion. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Low protein, Salads, Low Carb.
