  • milk - 1/4 c
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • confectioners sugar
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • almond extract - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • chopped walnuts optional - 1 c

How to make white texas sheet cake:

Frosting:1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. milk4 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 tsp. almond extract1 c. chopped walnuts (optional) In a large saucepan, bring margarine and water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Bake at 375° for 20 to 22 minutes or until cake is golden brown and tests done. Cool for 20 minutes.

Frosting: Combine margarine and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add sugar and almond extract; stir well. Stir in walnuts and spread over warm cake.
