  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • almond extract - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg whites - 6 item

How to make white cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Beat egg whites. Add flour, soda, baking powder and buttermilk to sugar mixture. Mix well and add flavoring. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
