  • eggs - 3 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 3/4 c
  • Dream Whip - 2 pkg
  • white cake mix - 1 size
  • 7-Up - 1 c
  • coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
  • pistachio nut pudding mix - 1 pkg

How to make watergate cake:

Topping:1 pkg. pistachio nut pudding mix2 pkg. Dream Whip1/2 c. milk Combine cake mix and pudding mix. Add eggs and oil; mix well. Slowly add the 7-Up (batter will get foamy); mix well. Add the nuts, coconut and flavoring. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake according to directions on cake mix. It is very moist.

Topping: Combine and beat together until thick enough to spread. Spread on cooled cake.
