  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • coconut
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • box vanilla wafers, crushed - 1 oz
  • pecans, crushed - 1 c
  • black walnuts, crushed - 1 c

How to make walnut cake:

Mix vanilla wafers, coconut, walnuts and pecans; set aside. Cream together the margarine, sugar, buttermilk and eggs. Mix everything together and pour into tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours. Do not open oven for the first hour.

Hint: Spray pan with cooking oil spray.
