Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- coconut
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- box vanilla wafers, crushed - 1 oz
- pecans, crushed - 1 c
- black walnuts, crushed - 1 c
How to make walnut cake:
Mix vanilla wafers, coconut, walnuts and pecans; set aside. Cream together the margarine, sugar, buttermilk and eggs. Mix everything together and pour into tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours. Do not open oven for the first hour.Hint: Spray pan with cooking oil spray.
