Waldorf salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- finely chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- finely chopped celery - 1/4 c
- apple cider, divided - 2 c
- large apple, finely chopped unpeeled - 1 item
How to make waldorf salad:
Bring 1 cup of cider to boil; add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in remaining cider. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg white. Fold in apple, celery and pecans. Pour into a 4-cup mold and chill until set. Unmold on a lettuce-lined plate and top with one tablespoon of mayonnaise. Serves 6.Recipe categories: American, Salads, Vegetables.
