Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- flour
- brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
- butter
- cold water - 1 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 6 Tbsp
- cream - 2 Tbsp
How to make wacky cake:
Icing:2 Tbsp. butter6 Tbsp. brown sugar2 Tbsp. cream chopped nuts Sift dry ingredients in an ungreased 8 or 9-inch square baking pan. Punch 3 holes in mix. In one hole, pour oil, in one hole pour vinegar and in one hole pour vanilla. Cover with 1 cup cold water; stir well with fork. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°.Ice cake as soon as baked, place under broiler to brown. Spread nuts over icing.
