Vinegar pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening
- cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp
How to make vinegar pie crust:
Mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Combine water, vinegar and egg. Beat well with fork. Add shortening. Stir well. Chill 2 hours before using. Makes enough for a large cobbler.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
