Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 Tbsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening
  • cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp

How to make vinegar pie crust:

Mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Combine water, vinegar and egg. Beat well with fork. Add shortening. Stir well. Chill 2 hours before using. Makes enough for a large cobbler.
