  • salt
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • water - 2 c
  • oil - 2 3
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • soy sauce - 2 tsp
  • dried parsley flakes
  • large onion, sliced - 1 item
  • venison tenderloin

How to make venison steak:

Cut venison into 1-inch thick slices. Brush with soy sauce. Sprinkle with garlic salt, salt and pepper. Dredge lightly in flour. Brown steak on both sides in hot oil in a large skillet. Transfer to a 13 x 9-inch baking dish and set aside. Drain drippings from skillet. Add margarine. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly to loosen particles. Stir in water and cook until heated. Pour over steak. Put onion over steak. Sprinkle with parsley flakes. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
