  • garlic salt - 1 item
  • lemon pepper - 1 item
  • seasoned salt - 1 item
  • black pepper - 1 item
  • Cajun Creole seasoning only if you want it hot - 1 item
  • thick venison strips - 1/4-i item

How to make venison jerky:

Note: You can use any seasons that you like.

Rub dry seasonings into meat; let it sit overnight. Line bottom of oven with foil. Heat oven to the lowest setting, 150° to 170°. Lay strips across oven racks. Let cook 10 to 12 hours. Check every few hours to make sure that you are not overcooking it. The jerky will keep unrefrigerated for up to 2 weeks if you keep it in an airtight container.
