Vegetarian black bean chili
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 1 c
- sliced carrots - 2 c
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- cans black beans - 2 item
- garlic chips - 1/8 tsp
- chopped red bell pepper - 1 c
- pinch of dried parsley - 1 item
How to make vegetarian black bean chili:
Saute onion and peppers in 2 tablespoons of margarine. Add black beans, tomatoes, water and spices. Simmer 1 hour. Add carrots and mushrooms and any other vegies you like and continue simmering until vegies are tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chili, Black beans.
