Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1 c
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • sliced mushrooms - 1 c
  • sliced carrots - 2 c
  • cans tomatoes - 2 item
  • cans black beans - 2 item
  • garlic chips - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped red bell pepper - 1 c
  • pinch of dried parsley - 1 item

How to make vegetarian black bean chili:

Saute onion and peppers in 2 tablespoons of margarine. Add black beans, tomatoes, water and spices. Simmer 1 hour. Add carrots and mushrooms and any other vegies you like and continue simmering until vegies are tender.
