Ingredients/Components
- large can French-style beans, drained - 1 item
- can tiny peas, drained - 1 item
- jar chopped pimento - 1 oz
- vinegar - 1 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- sugar or more if desired - 1/4 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make vegetable salad:
Mix last 6 ingredients. Boil 1 minute. Cool slightly and pour over drained vegetables. Chill 3 to 4 hours or overnight before serving.Variation: Use Shoe Peg corn instead of French beans. Keeps well in refrigerator.
