Ingredients/Components

  • paprika - 1 Tbsp
  • flour
  • Crisco or butter - 3/4 c
  • ice cold milk - 3 Tbsp
  • Filling:2 large zucchini, sliced
  • sliced green pepper - 1 c
  • cloves minced garlic - 2 item
  • medium onion, sliced thin - 1 item
  • sliced carrots - 1/2 c
  • diced tomato - 1/2 c
  • Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 2 c
  • heavy creamy - 1 to
  • basil - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • eggs, beaten well - 3 item

How to make vegetable quiche:

Filling:2 large zucchini, sliced1 c. sliced green pepper2 cloves minced garlic1 medium onion, sliced thin1/2 c. sliced carrots1/2 c. diced tomato2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded Sauce:1/4 tsp. paprika1 1/2 to 2 c. heavy creamy1 Tbsp. basil1/8 tsp. pepper3 eggs, beaten well Mix crust ingredients. Pat into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool.

Place 1 cup shredded cheese on bottom of crust. Saute sliced vegetables and then add to crust. Top with remaining 1 cup shredded cheese.

Mix sauce ingredients and pour over top. Cook at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
