Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 6 C
  • flour - 1/2 C
  • butter - 1/2 C
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cans chicken broth
  • sage - 1/2 tsp
  • onion salt - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • onion, chopped - 1 lrg
  • sliced carrots - 1/2 C
  • celery salt - 1/2 tsp
  • potatoes, cubed - 2 lbs
  • seasoning salt - 1 tsp
  • parmesan cheese - 1 C
  • tyme - 1/2 tsp
  • bacon, cooked & crumbled - 1 lb

How to make parmesan potato soup:

In a large soup kettle, saut?© onion in butter until tender. In a separate bowl, mix flour and seasonings. Stir into onion. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, carrots, bacon and milk. Simmer on low heat until potatoes and carrots are tender. Add cheese. Stir well and heat through. Enjoy!
