Parmesan potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 6 C
- flour - 1/2 C
- butter - 1/2 C
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cans chicken broth
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- onion salt - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 lrg
- sliced carrots - 1/2 C
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- potatoes, cubed - 2 lbs
- seasoning salt - 1 tsp
- parmesan cheese - 1 C
- tyme - 1/2 tsp
- bacon, cooked & crumbled - 1 lb
How to make parmesan potato soup:
In a large soup kettle, saut?© onion in butter until tender. In a separate bowl, mix flour and seasonings. Stir into onion. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, carrots, bacon and milk. Simmer on low heat until potatoes and carrots are tender. Add cheese. Stir well and heat through.
