- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bag caramels - 1 (14
How to make turtle cake:
Melt together the caramels, butter and milk. Mix cake according to directions. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan and pour 1/2 batter into pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Remove cake from oven. Pour melted margarine over the half-baked cake. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour second half of cake batter over top.
