- butter - 3/4 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bag caramels - 1 (14
How to make turtle cake:
Prepare cake mix according to directions. Pour 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Melt caramels in butter and milk over low heat, stirring constantly. On cake that has baked 15 minutes sprinkle 1 cup nuts, chocolate chips and pour caramel mix over this. Pour remaining batter and sprinkle with last cup of nuts.
