Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bag Kraft caramels - 1 (14
- small can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
How to make turtle cake:
Prepare cake by package instructions. Pour half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Melt caramels with butter and milk in a saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly. Pour this over the hot half of baked cake. Top with chocolate chips and pecans, then pour on rest of cake batter. Bake at 350° for another 20 minutes.
