Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 2 Tbsp
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • plain yogurt - 1 c
  • large cucumbers - 3 item
  • large tomatoes - 3 item
  • chili powder to taste - 1 item
  • bunches fresh dill weed - 4 item
  • to 6 garlic cloves, crushed - 4 item
  • Turkish black olives - 8 item

How to make turkish salad:

Peel cucumbers. Slice lengthwise and discard seeds. Peel and seed tomatoes; dice. Put in bowl and cover with salt. Mix well. Chill for 1 hour. Chop dill. Combine remaining ingredients. Add and mix gently. Chill, covered, 2 hours. Drain liquid before servi
