Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • ground turkey - 2 lb
  • can refrigerator biscuits - 1 1/2
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 1/2
  • canned mushrooms - 1 c
  • cans French fried onions - 2 oz

How to make turkey stroganoff:

Topping:1/2 c. sour cream1 egg1 tsp. celery seed1/4 tsp. salt Brown turkey. In ungreased 3-quart deep casserole, combine turkey, mushrooms and 1 1/2 cans French fried onions (reserve remainder for top). Bring undiluted soup to a boil; remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Remove biscuits from container and cut each biscuit in half. Pour warm soup mixture over meat. Immediately arrange biscuits, cut side down, in a circle around edge of casserole. Sprinkle remaining onions in center of biscuits.

Combine all topping ingredients, blending well. Pour topping over biscuits and bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 6.
