Turkey manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- beaten egg - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- snipped parsley - 1/2 c
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- Ricotta cheese - 1 c
- manicotti shells - 8 item
- ground raw turkey - 1 lb
- large can meatless spaghetti sauce - 1 item
How to make turkey manicotti:
Cook manicotti in boiling water about 18 minutes or until tender but still firm. Drain well. In a large skillet cook turkey until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in sauce; heat through. Mix together egg, Ricotta, Mozzarella, parsley and Parmesan. Stuff cheese mixture into shells. Spoon 1/3 of the sauce mixture into a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Place shells atop. Top with remaining sauce mix; covering shells. Bake, covered, in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Manicotti.
