Tunnel of fudge cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- all-purpose flour
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 2 c
- unsweetened cocoa - 3/4 c
- margarine
How to make tunnel of fudge cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan. In large bowl, combine sugar and margarine; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after addition. Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand, stir in flour and remaining cake ingredients until well blended. Spoon batter into greased and floured pan; spread evenly. Bake at 350° for 58 to 61 minutes. Cool upright in pan on rack for one hour. Invert onto serving plate. Cool completely. Top with your favorite glaze.Note: Nuts are essential for the success of this recipe.
