Tomato soup salad
Ingredients/Components
- envelopes plain gelatin - 2 item
- water - 1/2 c
- can tomato soup do not add water - 1 item
- pkg - 2 oz
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- diced bell pepper - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- minced onion - 1/2 c
How to make tomato soup salad:
Soften gelatin in water. Heat soup. Add gelatin, stirring well until it dissolves. Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Beat with rotary beater until smooth. Cool. Fold in lemon juice, mayonnaise and vegetables. Pour into lightly oiled 1 1/2-quart mold. Chill 4 to 5 hours. Serves about 12.Repeat favorite.
