Ingredients/Components
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cheese croutons - 4 slices
- melted margarine not really needed - 1/4 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/8 c
How to make tomato casserole:
Layer tomatoes, toast cubes and onions in greased casserole using 3/4 of the toast cubes. Sprinkle the seasonings on the tomato layer. Arrange remaining toast cubes over top. Pour over all 1/4 cup margarine, melted. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake atRecipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Tomato.
