  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • shortening - 1 c
  • sifted flour
  • hot water - 1 tsp
  • oatmeal - 2 c
  • white sugar - 3/4 c
  • Toll House chocolate chips - 1 pkg

How to make toll house cookies:

Mix in order given. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
