Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- heavy whipping cream - 2 Tbsp
- flour scant - 4 Tbsp
- small bottle light corn syrup - 2 c
How to make the best pecan pie:
Cream butter (softened) and sugar. Add corn syrup, flour, salt, cream, eggs, vanilla and pecans last. Pour into unbaked pie shells (9-inch deep dish). Bake on middle rack 1 hour at 325° or until set. Makes 2 pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
