Texas pecan cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• butter - 2 c
• baking powder
• sifted flour - 4 c
• pecan halves - 4 c
• lemon flavoring - 1 Tbsp
• eggs, well beaten - 6 item
• white raisins - 2 c

How to make texas pecan cake:

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and lemon flavoring. Blend well. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine with raisins and pecans. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake 2 hours at 275°.
