- ground beef - 1 lb
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- cooked rice - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- chili powder - 1 2
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make texas hash:
Heat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, brown meat with onion and green pepper. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat through. Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
