Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- cider vinegar
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped fine - 1 item
- celery, chopped fine - 1 c
- small jar chopped pimento - 1 item
- can black-eyed peas with jalapeno, drained - 1 item
- can pinto beans with jalapeno, drained - 1 item
- can Shoepeg white corn, drained - 1 item
How to make texas caviar:
Dressing:3/4 c. cider vinegar1/2 c. oil1 c. sugar1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper Boil. Cool and pour over the previous ingredients. Refrigerate afterwards.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Salads, Tex Mex.
