Tex-mex casserole
Ingredients/Components
- soft corn tortillas - 1 pkg
- ground beef
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- can chili beans - 1 oz
- Velveeta cheese, sliced - 1 lb
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1/2 item
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
How to make tex-mex casserole:
Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan. Line with 6 flat tortillas. Brown meat and onion with chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add beans with juice; simmer for 10 minutes. Pour browned meat mixture on top of tortillas; top with sliced Velveeta cheese. Cover with remaining tortillas. Mix soup with Ro-Tel; add on top.
