Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- butter, oleo or Crisco - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- thick buttermilk - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1 item
How to make tea cakes:
Mix all ingredients, adding enough flour to make dough stiff enough to roll out very thin. Cut and bake in 375° oven until light brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Coffee cakes.
