- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/8 lb
- soda - 1 tsp
- chopped dates - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
How to make date cake:
Add boiling water to dates, soda and butter; let cool. Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured pans in 350° oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with whipped topping.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Kid Friendly.
