  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • can crushed pineapple
  • Cool Whip - 1 (8
  • cider vinegar
  • chopped salted peanuts - 1 c
  • chopped apples, with skins on 3 Granny Smith apples - 4 c

How to make taffy apple salad:

Combine sugar and flour; add egg. Stir in vinegar and pineapple juice. Heat to soft boil. Remove from heat when thickened and cool. Combine in bowl: apples, crushed pineapple, Cool Whip and peanuts. Mix with cooled sauce and refrigerate.
