  • 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • enriched flour - 3/4 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/3 c

How to make apple crumb pie:

Pare apples and cut in eighths. Arrange in unbaked shell. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
