Taco salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 10 oz
- Italian salad dressing - 8 oz
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 item
- head lettuce - 1 item
- diced tomatoes - 3 item
- bag nacho Doritos chips, crunched up - 1/2 item
How to make taco salad:
Brown beef and onion in a frying pan. Pour off grease and cool on a paper towel-covered plate or cookie sheet. Tear lettuce into bite sized pieces. Mix all ingredients in a humongous bowl (we use a punch bowl). Last, add salad dressing and chips. Toss well.Note: Some people add Mexican salsa to this and cut up avocados.
