Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • clove garlic - 1/2 item
  • dash of hot sauce - 1 item
  • dash of black pepper - 1 item
  • chopped red onion - 1/2 c
  • cans black-eyed peas, drained - 2 oz

How to make black-eyed pea salad:

Combine the first 4 ingredients; toss. Combine the last 6 ingredients. Pour over the first. Refrigerate at least 12 hours, remove garlic.
