Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • milk
  • water - 1/2 c
  • Bisquick - 3/4 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
  • can refried beans - 1 item
  • envelope taco seasoning - 1 item
  • can green chilli peppers - 1 oz

How to make taco pie:

Heat oven to 400°. Grease a 10 x 13-inch pan. In frypan, cook the beef and onion until brown. Drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix. Add water. Cook until water evaporates, stirring occasionally. Spread in pan. Top with chillies. Beat milk, Bisquick and eggs until smooth. Pour over meat mixture in pan. Bake 25 minutes. Top with beans (slightly cooked to make easier to spread). Sprinkle grated cheese over beans. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cheese melts.
