Ingredients/Components
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium green peppers - 4 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- spaghetti sauce - 3 c
- cooked rice - 1/2 c
- envelope taco seasoning mix - 1 item
How to make taco bell peppers:
Cut off tops and insides of green peppers. Parboil in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes; drain. Brown the beef and onion; drain fat. Add 1 cup spaghetti sauce, rice, taco seasoning, pepper and diced green pepper reserved from tops. Spoon meat mixture into pepper shell. Pour remaining 2 cups spaghetti sauce over peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, covered, at 350° for 1/2 hour. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until tops are brown.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Main dish, Peppers.
