  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar
  • oleo, softened - 1/4 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • self-rising flour - 1/2 c
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • half and half or milk - 1/2 c
  • sweet potatoes fresh or canned - 3 c

How to make sweet potato souffle:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. self-rising flour1/4 c. oleo, softened1 c. pecans, chopped Mix together filling ingredients with mixer. Pour into baking dish and top with topping that has been mixed together. Cover with foil for the first 30 minutes to prevent top from getting too brown. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until firm in the middle.
