  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • sweet potatoes - 3 c
  • Mix all ingredients

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Cook, drain and mash potatoes. Mix all ingredients. Pour in shallow baking dish.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. flour1/2 c. butter1 c. nuts Melt butter and mix in other ingredients. Sprinkle on top. Bake 35 minutes at 350°.

I sometimes use a 29 ounce can of sweet potatoes, drained and mashed; saves time.
