Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- firmly packed brown sugar
- butter or oleo - 1/4 c
- cooked, mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/3 c. flour1/3 c. butter or oleo1 c. chopped pecans Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and 1/2 cup butter or oleo; beat with electric mixer until smooth. Spoon into a greased 1-quart shallow casserole dish.Topping: Combine brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans and mix well. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
